Hi, my name is Apache; my registered name is Sonny Apache. I was born in 1989 and am a 16 hand sorrel tobiano paint gelding. Notice the unique color pattern. If you look closely on my right side you can see Mickey Mouse! I was donated by J.D. Cooke and have been in the program since 2002. My previous owner used to take me on many trail rides. I am a great horse for grooming and I especially like to be vacuumed when I am really muddy!
If my horse buddy has time and I am very dirty, I enjoy having a bath. My favorite activity is trail riding, but since I am gaited, I tend to walk a little faster than some. I was ridden western, so I do neck rein. You may notice that I have these lessons timed out perfectly! When it is time to line up you should know that I like to be the first one done and may walk quickly into the center. Another thing you should know about me is that I like to be lead on a loose lead line. Don't worry, I just like my space. I wear bell boots to help keep me from stepping on my heels - ouch - and to keep me from pulling off my shoes.
