Cody
Hey there everyone! My name is Cody and I am so excited to have been donated by Susan Rair. I absolutely love it here. I get three square meals a day, plenty of turnout and lots of attention. I think I must have died and went to heaven. I was born in 1989. You may notice by all of my spots, I am an Appaloosa gelding and about 14.1 hands tall. The perfect size for the younger riders I have seen around here. I cannot wait to meet them all.
My past is very fuzzy. At some point, I had some training in the western discipline, although I do neck rein very well. I was rescued from a bad situation at one point and the last few years I have been a backyard horse. I taught young kids to ride. I do enjoy attention and I especially love to eat apples. I had an apple tree out in my pasture - lucky me! I stand pretty well for grooming, but I am anxious to get to work. Please talk to me and remind me I need to stand still. You may notice when you put on the girth I pin my ears back - my one character flaw. I am extremely easy to lead. I love all of the ring activities - they keep me from being bored. I also enjoy a trail ride from time to time. I pretty much do whatever I am asked without resistance. Can't wait to meet you all! I wish I had found this place sooner - I think this was my calling in life! You may notice that I am on the thinner side, not to worry, I am sure to pick up weight here.
