The Academic Enrichment Curriculum details 9 progressive, equine lesson modules with an emphasis on literacy. Each lesson is referenced to the applicable Ohio Academic Content Standards and includes detailed, supplemental activities. In addition, pre- and post- assessments are included to document learner progress.

Teachers from sending schools can use this curriculum to enhance their classroom goals and to engage learning around specific content areas. Other therapeutic programs will find this curriculum easily adaptable to their own particular settings and state standards.
