Gunnar
Well hello there! My name is Laingsburg Gunnar; please call me Gunnar. I moved up here recently from Brevard, North Carolina. My donor, Trish Meller thought this would be the perfect job for me. I am very personable and love to work. Prior to being donated in July of 2011, I was being ridden 2nd level dressage. I also have lots of experience trail riding and on the hunter circuit up in Michigan where I was born in 1993. I have lots of knowledge to share with everyone here. I am about 16.2 hands tall- a good size for adult riders. I am a Holsteiner Appaloosa cross, but don’t look for any spots, I am a solid bay. If I don’t say so, I am quite the handsome fellow. And if you think I look great in the stall, you should see how elegant I look when being ridden. The activities in the ring are entertaining, but I really prefer to “show off” my stuff with the independent riders. I respond well to my rider’s cues especially to their seat and legs. I can be a little strong at the trot, it is because I just love to work and keep this body in shape. I have excellent manners and love to be groomed. See you soon! Be sure to help me out as I learn how you "northerners" do things up here! I am a quick study, so it won't take long. Oh, one more thing please do not bring me out when the carriage driving lessons are going on – I am a little intimidated by them.
