Kazaar
Well, hello there! It is very nice to meet you. I know I am the tallest horse here, 17.1 hands to be exact, but please don't be intimidated by my size. I can't help that I just kept growing taller and taller- I think I am finished growing now... just kidding. My name is Kazaar. I am a Hungarian Sport Horse. Pretty cool, huh?! They don't have that breed here either. I am pretty unique-not only one of a kind, but super sweet, quiet and very eager to please. I was born in 1997, so I plan on being around for awhile. I love it here! My donor, Scott Emerson, thought this would be a great next career for me, since I could no longer compete.
I was previously ridden as an English hunter, did some fox hunting and even enjoyed some good old trail rides. However, when I walk on trail, I do walk with a purpose. I have extra long legs, so my stride is much larger than most. They have great trails here, so much to see. I enjoy taking a short walk on the sensory course too.
I was donated in June of 2009. You will notice that my legs are a little 'lumpy'. I have arthritis and I may be a little stiff when I come out of my stall. Not to worry, the more I move around, the better I feel. Also, I require rear ankle boots for class; if you are unsure of how to put them on please ask for help. I love to be groomed-good luck reaching those 'high' spots. You may need a step ladder to get them! Please be gentle when picking out my hooves because of my arthritis. I do not flex my ankles as well as some of the young guys around here. I am easy to lead, but prefer a loose lead line. I don't like a lot of pressure on my head or things on my ears.
I love attention and treats, of course. For such a big guy, I am very easy going and move quite elegantly-as you will see soon! Be sure to check me out when you are walking down the aisle; I am the tall handsome black, warmblood gelding that is anxious to meet you! You can't miss me. I am quite stunning- did I mention I like to brag about myself too? See you soon!
