How to make a donation
People often ask how can they help Fieldstone Farm. Here are a few ideas!
General Donations - Donations of any amount are always welcome. Your generosity helps us to continue to provide quality services to our clients. Donations can now be made online by clicking the "Donate" button below. Stock donations are also accepted and appreciated.
Please note that if you donate by credit card, 3% of your gift is applied to the credit card company's fees. If you would like 100% of your gift to benefit Fieldstone Farm, you may send a check to Fieldstone Farm, P.O. Box 23129, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023.
Sponsor a Student "Ridership" ($240/ two month session) - A "Ridership" is the means by which Fieldstone Farm provides financial assistance through donations to students and families unable to pay the full cost of the lessons.
Sponsor a therapy horse ($250/month) - Horse sponsors provide for the care and feeding of a therapy horse. Sponsors may have the privilege of assisting in the care of the horse they sponsor.
Donate a horse - Fieldstone Farm horses are donated or purchased with earmarked funds. After a trial period, appropriate candidates may be accepted into the program as therapy horses.
Planned Giving at Fieldstone Farm - These gifts are charitable contributions which are planned with a donor's tax accountant, estate attorney and/or financial planner and will benefit the charity either now or sometime in the future. A gift may be made as a bequest in your will. You can give almost any kind of cash, securities or tangible personal property. You can name Fieldstone Farm as a beneficiary on your IRA, in your will or on your life insurance policy. Gifts of retirement assets, low cost basis stock and unneeded life insurance policies can have favorable tax implications for the donor and have a significant impact on Fieldstone Farm. Donate Stock - Contact the Development Office or Accountant for delivery instructions.
Donate Tack - All tack that is donated to Fieldstone Farm is either used in our program or is sold during our annual Tack Sale held in conjunction with our Ride-A-Thon fundraising event on the first Sunday in October.

Spring Swing:
Polo anyone? Join us for an elegant evening of exhilarating polo, refreshing cocktails and savory hors d'oeuvres. Watch and place your bets on our hometown polo team in a demonstration match against a visiting team at the Cleveland Metroparks polo field. Attended by over 250 people, our spring event is not to be missed.
Hay Day:
350 attendees at this event enjoy a beautiful fall evening at the historic White North Stables in Hunting Valley, part of the Western Reserve Land Conservancy. Join us for hay rides, games, dinner and dancing at this landmark property that is truly a Cleveland treasure. All proceeds from this event will support the programs at Fieldstone Farm.
Ride-A-Thon:
Horse-people from all over rally to raise pledges to support the programs at Fieldstone Farm, then gather together to enjoy a beautiful Sunday ride on the trails of the South Chagrin Reservation. Following the ride, participants enjoy a delicious lunch, try the trailability course and find great deals at our used tack sale.
